COLTON, CA, October 9, 2024 – Williams, a leading provider of HVAC heating and cooling equipment, announces the appointments of Richard Liang as Director of New Product Engineering and Ted Marwitz as Engineering Manager. In their roles, they will lead the efforts of the product engineering teams to create innovative, high-quality hydronic heating and cooling products that meet business and customer needs.

Mr. Liang’s career includes leadership positions in innovative product development roles where he managed full product lifecycles from ideation through commercialization. During his time at IQ Power Tools, Mr. Liang was also in charge of supplier contract negotiation and pricing, developing resilient supply chain strategies to meet geo-political challenges and maintain desirable cost structures. Previous positions include product management roles at IOGEAR, Kanex and Toshiba. He earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems at California State Polytechnic University.

Mr. Marwitz, a mechanical and industrial technology engineer with several years of experience in engineering and computer systems leadership roles, brings a broad range of expertise and technical acumen to the position. His career includes notable achievements in areas such as new product development, logic controls, software development, electrical and electronic controls, and performance and energy efficiency testing. He has held leadership positions at Intertek, Data Aire and AAI/ACL Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science – Industrial Technology degree from California State University.
