Can the Furnace Be Converted from LP to Natural or Natural to LP Gas?

Williams furnaces produced after 2002 can be converted between gas types, with specific exceptions.

Eligible for Conversion

All models produced after 2002 except Compact Heating Systems and Vent-Free models may be converted.

Not Eligible for Conversion

• Models manufactured in 2002 or earlier
• Compact Heating Systems (regardless of manufacture date)
• Vent-Free units (regardless of manufacture date)

How to Convert

To perform a conversion, customers need to identify their specific furnace model and obtain the appropriate conversion kit. Williams provides conversion kits designed for individual models to facilitate switching between liquefied petroleum and natural gas systems.
